Dr Mahon-Daly is an Adult & Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist working privately in North Shore, Sydney. Outside of private practice, he has experience working for NSW Health in various inpatient and community settings. He completed additional sub-specialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, which allowed him further training in working with young clients and their families. He is an approved facilitator of Circle of Security. Dr Mahon-Daly is an honorary lecturer with Macquarie University, where he teaches medical students. He is a published author, having discussed the use of video games as a therapeutic tool in Australasian Psychiatry.

Dr Mahon-Daly practised in several types of psychotherapy through his training. From experience, he observed how clients do their best when medication treatment is combined with non-medication treatments that consider psychological and physical health.

Dr Mahon-Daly sees children, adolescents, and adults. He offers a combination of assessment and treatment for clients, depending on their presenting complaint.

Dr Mahon-Daly offers psychotherapy for adult clients- he is primarily trained in psychodynamic therapy and utilises concepts of CBT, ACT and ABFT.

Dr Mahon-Daly primarily works face to face. He offers telehealth assessments for follow-up appointments.

Dr Sean Mahon-Daly works Wednesdays and Thursdays.
